I raised most of our food on a quarter acre, plus chicken, and rabbits for a while. Really needed to put talipia tanks in the greenhouse to round up the protein, and water the plants. Good stuff found by andreas2 who also says of his recent trip to by lightbulbs: "if they are going to ban incandescent light bulbs, why not other energy wasters, such as SUVs? How about red meat?" a pig and some rabbits would about do me, maybe a lamb in the spring.
